  Results:This system was previously charged with a competitive soluble oil, which accumulated high levels of tramp oil (hydraulic and way oils). The

   initial response from operators is that the fluid is much cleaner and has a more pleasant odor. The Cimguardian Metalworking Fluid Monitor will be

   installed on this system to monitor all key fluid parameters and insure a high level of productivity for this customer.

   cycles and improve productivity. Also, CIMTECH 310 has provided excellent foam control.

  Results:Cimtech 310 replaced a soluble oil product that had foam, burn, and odor problems. Even at very high flow rates and pressures, the Cimtech 310

  does not foam. Cycle time was improved by 30% and feed rate by 50%. Cimtech310 has excellent cleanliness and operator acceptance. CIMFORM®

  grinding wheels are used in all applications, aluminum oxide in the creep feed and surface grinding operations, and “PB” and electroplated CBN in the

  others.

  Results:We replaced a competitive wafer slicing fluid. The customer found that his diamond saw blades and edge grinding wheels stayed cleaner with

 CX –09A. In addition, they reduced their mold problems and the CX-09A was less expensive. The cleaner fluid resulted in longer blade and wheel life with

 smoother, flatter wafers, ultimately producing higher wafer yields per silicon log.

  Results:CIMTECH 46C provides excellent grinding performance, cleanliness andsettling. This fluid has not developed residue or rancidity. CIMTECH 46C

 isspecifically designed to inhibit cobalt leaching from the carbide. Tests areconducted once per month, with the cobalt level always less that 0.5 ppm.
